MacInnis among seven Nova Scotia Hall inductees

The Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame announced seven new inductees yesterday, to be honoured in a ceremony on Oct. 17.


The Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame announced seven new inductees yesterday, to be honoured in a ceremony on Oct. 17.

Al MacInnis, a legendary NHL defenceman from Port Hood, leads the pack, while Olympic paddler Don Brien, boxer Carroll Morgan and multi-sport athlete Peter Corkum will be inducted in the athlete category.

David Fraser, Arnie Patterson and Wayne Finck will join the Hall as builders, while the 1960-61 Amherst Ramblers are being inducted in the team category.
