The group Mothers Against Drunk Driving wants people throughout Alberta to report suspected impaired drivers to police.

MADD launched a new program Thursday along with the Alberta government and RCMP that calls on people to dial 9-1-1 when they see a suspected impaired driver.

Denise Dubyk with MADD lost her son Darryl to a drunk and says having thousands of people watching out for impaired drivers could help save a life. “Report An Impaired Driver and programs like it are an effective way for all of us to work together to prevent impaired driving deaths and injuries,” she said.
