A promo by Madonna for an upcoming show in St. Petersburg, Russia, is causing outrage because the star swears in the first few seconds of the taped message.
The singer starts the promo for her Aug. 2 show by saying it will be “F—in amazing” in Russia.
The promo has rattled even her local management. “We are not just amazed, it’s not the right word — we are in shock,” said Marianna Lubina, press representative of the PMI company, which is bringing Madonna to St. Petersburg. “Her greeting is extremely short, and will be much shorter when we cut this filthy word.”
