A 60-year-old man is facing charges after police say a man exposed himself to a younger man who was walking near Citadel High School.
Halifax Regional Police say a man approached the 20-year-old victim — who was walking home alone — and committed the indecent act yesterday at 4:10 a.m. on the Halifax Common near the high school.
“He exposed himself,” Staff Sgt. Barb Saunders said of what the indecent act was. “The victim then left and called police while he was still walking.”
Officers then arrived on the scene and located the suspect near where the alleged incident took place, Saunders said. She added the victim helped officers identify the suspect and the 60-year-old was arrested without incident.
The man will appear in Halifax provincial court at a later date.
