Calgary police have charged a man after allegations he used a concealed camera to record still and video images of women beneath their dresses or skirts.
Police said they received a call July 23 of an alleged indecent act at the Crowfoot Public Library at 8633 Nose Hill Dr. NW.
A staff member confronted the suspect, who then fled the scene, and then police were called, they said.
Police said information learned through the investigation led officers to the home of a man they believe responsible for the act.
Donovan Lindsay Beppo, 46, of Calgary is charged with one count of voyeurism. Items belonging to Beppo, including a computer and a camera were also seized at the time of arrest, police said.
Police also indicated more victims may come forward, as they believe the accused may have been engaged in the act for a lengthy time period.
