Residents in south-west Edmonton witnessed a mid-morning disturbance in their quiet neighbourhood,when a man plowed a truck into a patch of trees.
A number of neighbours in the area of Riverbend Road and Haddow Close called police, after an erratic driver was seen driving on a greenbelt, before smashing into a grove of trees, then fleeing the scene.
A suspect was later apprehended in front of a home at Hendra Crescent.
Sami Austin Williamson, 22, faces several charges including dangerous driving.
