Ottawa police have charged a city man after a woman was defrauded after using an Internet dating site.
After befriending a man for several months, a woman was persuaded to invest in importing wine grapes from Italy and California, which she had been told would yield her a high return over a short period of time.
Angelo Morena, 49, is charged with fraud over $5,000 and breach of probation.
