Edmonton police have arrested a man in connection to a number of poppy donation box thefts that occurred leading up to Remembrance Day.

According to police the funds from the poppy boxes were taken from four different north end convenience stores and gas stations on Nov. 9.

James Trevor Hollar, 25, was arrested on Tuesday and faces multiple charges of theft under $5,000 and possession of stolen property. Hollar also faces five charges related to a breach in probation and on three outstanding warrants.
