An Ottawa man faces attempted murder charges in connection with an alleged aggravated assault at a Vanier apartment early Monday morning.
At 2:26 a.m. Monday, police arrived at the 200 block of Donald Street, where they found a 40-year-old woman with serious injuries in an apartment lobby.
They arrested a 45-year-old man, who appeared to be in medical distress, shortly afterward. He was later charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, robbery and assaulting police.
Luc Pilon appeared in court for a show cause hearing Tuesday.
