A North Vancouver man has been charged with helping his depressed friend commit suicide by giving the man the loaded shotgun he used to kill himself, RCMP said.
Police allege Paul Adrian Fraser, 21, gave a shotgun to Robert Milot, 20, in exchange for keys to a BMW.
Fraser was under a court order forbidding him from possessing firearms.
RCMP also said that Fraser allegedly showed Milot how to use the gun to kill himself, which he did the day after receiving the weapon.
Fraser has also been charged with possession of stolen property in connection with the BMW, and for uttering threats and assault with a weapon in unrelated incidents.
