An Ottawa man faces multiple charges after a downtown bank was robbed in broad daylight earlier this week.
Police said at 5:13 p.m. on Monday, a lone male entered the TD Canada Trust in the 400 block of Rideau Street and, after indicating he had a gun, demanded cash.
Following an investigation, police later arrested a male matching the description of the suspect.
Christopher Alan MacDonald, 38, faces two counts of robbery, one count of disguise with intent and one count of intimidation. He appears in court on Wednesday.
