Man finds calling on boardwalk

Josh Robinson was barely an adult when he started his first business on the Halifax waterfront four years ago.

He’s come a long way since selling cotton candy and popcorn from a bright yellow shed he built with his father, Dave. Robinson is now co-owner of Waterfront Pizza and Wraps.

The 22-year-old partnered with part-time Saint Mary’s University business professor Kevin Doucette to create the business that sells pizza, wraps and donairs among other tasty treats.

“I feel like I have an upper hand on the rest of my career,” he said standing outside his pickup window.

“I hope to be doing this for the rest of my life.”
