Another swarming in Halifax sent one man to hospital on Thursday.

A 24-year-old man was walking from Brunswick Street to Gottingen Street near the George Dixon Centre in North End Halifax.

According to Halifax Regional Police, the man was approached by a group of 10 men and women. One of the males proceeded to strike the victim in the chin with a stick.

The victim managed to escape from the crowd and then call police from a Gottingen Street business. Police searched the area, but were unable to locate any suspects. The victim was transported to hospital where he received stitches and was later released.
