A man was injured after his car left the road and flipped onto its roof in slippery road conditions on the Ottawa River Parkway between Booth and Sliddel Streets Monday.
Paramedics arrived to find the driver, the sole occupant of the vehicle, trapped upside down in the car. Firefighters stabilized the patient while they removed the doors to extricate him. The driver was taken to Ottawa Hospital Civic campus, where he was treated for injuries.
