A 57-year-old man died Tuesday morning when his car left Highway 224 in Shubenacadie and hit part of an overpass. No other vehicles were involved and no one else was in the car. The 9:15 a.m. accident shut down the highway for several hours; alcohol, weather or traffic conditions have been ruled out as causes.
