Divers with the Ontario Provincial Police have recovered the body of an Ottawa man who died in a rock-jumping incident at Bon Echo Provincial Park near Cloyne, Ont. Saturday.
The body of 26-year-old Chris Curry was located yesterday morning.
Police said Curry was jumping off the rock ledge at Upper Mazina Lake with a group of friends on Saturday evening when the accident happened.
Witnesses said Curry decided to jump from a higher ledge, but struck several rocks before landing in deep water. Friends attempted to search for Curry with no success.
