A 67-year-old man suffered serious leg injuries after being struck by a car late Monday night.
At 11:30 p.m., paramedics attended a call on the Transitway at Hunt Club Road, where they found a pedestrian who was struck by a westbound car while crossing the road.
The victim was alert at the scene. Paramedics treated him at the scene for serious injuries to both legs and transported him to hospital, where he is stable condition.
The driver of the car was assessed by paramedics but was not transported to hospital.
