Man who worked as camp counsellor charged with child porn offences

Police believe the alleged victims in the child pornography have not all been identified

Toronto police have charged a man who worked as a camp counsellor with child porn offences.

Police say they seized a quantity of child pornography from a home on Thursday, as part of an investigation that started in 2006.

A 25-year-old Toronto man was charged with two counts each of possession of child pornography and accessing child pornography.

Police say that in 2005 and 2006, the accused worked as a camp counsellor at a summer camp in the Kirkland Lake area of Ontario, and may have had access to children during that time.

He no longer works there.

Police believe the alleged victims in the child pornography have not all been identified, and ask that anyone with information contact them.
