A man was treated for a knife wound to the head at the Aberdeen Hospital following a stabbing at the Pictou wharf terminal on Tuesday afternoon.

RCMP Cpl. Mark Kellock said they were notified of the incident by New Glasgow police who received a call from the Aberdeen Hospital around 4:30 p.m.

The hospital said an individual who had been wounded with a knife was being treated.

Police said there were three or four males at the wharf who got into an altercation.

Police believe they know who the individuals are that were involved in the incident, but there have been no arrests made yet.
