Considering Mariah Carey’s infamous awards show performance earlier this month in Palms Spring, it’s no surprise she was only spotted sipping water at the Golden Globes. But apparently Carey had some instruction, according to Popeater. Mo’nique, who co-stars with Carey in Precious and won a Golden Globe for best supporting actress, reportedly told the singer, “Don’t drink until after our category is announced.”
