It's obvious that the country has changed in the last 100 years — and that includes how we name our children.

Mike Barry, a software engineer from Boston, decided to show how the popularity of baby names has changed since 1910 in a GIF map using data from the Social Security Administration.

Though the map shows that we've gone from John to Mason in the last 100 years or so, it also demonstrates that no matter how divided our country is, we tend to agree on what to name our kids.
