As per their seasonal slogan, “show off your curves” with sultry dresses, flirty tops and all kinds of stylish skirts and accessories for fab-size ladies.

K-Way resurfaces

K-Way on sale at Mark’s Work Wearhouse for $39.99.

Remember those K-Way windbreakers from the 1980s? Everyone had one (FF’s was pink), and they were really quite demure and practical relative to the revealing apparel of today. Great for biking, an unexpected rainstorm, camping or cottaging and easily stored in its own handy pouch.

Whether you’re old enough to appreciate the original, just like that “retro look” or prefer not to be wet and cold, the K-Way is now back in Canada and available exclusively at Mark’s Work Wearhouse stores for $39.99. www.marks.com

Pedestrian Sunday

This Sunday, try to visit Mirvish Village (on Markham Street, near Honest Ed’s) for its first “Pedestrian Sunday” event — yes, no cars — just a fun day exploring this artistic pocket of the Annex on foot or bicycle.

There will be all kinds of sales and activities from noon to 9 p.m., including live music, a retro fashion show organized by the recently relaunched Vintage Bride shop, storytelling for kids at 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., tango dancing from 5-7 p.m., puppet shows and yummy BBQs hosted by neighbourhood faves Southern Accent and Butler’s Pantry. For details, call 416-535-7432.

Bridezilla alert

If you or someone you know will soon be marching down an aisle, then take note of this weekend’s sample sale at White — one of Toronto’s higher-end designer bridal boutiques.

Brides-to-be and their attendants can expect all kinds of lovelies from prestige labels including Carolina Herrera, Nicole Miller, Blumarine, Anne Barge and Amy Michelson. The sale runs today to Sunday.

To book an appointment or to ask questions, call 416-849-9196.
