In Canadian dealerships this month, the second-generation Mazdaspeed3, one of the fastest front-wheel drive cars available, has been priced at $32,995.
The 2010 Mazdaspeed3 is born from the expressive and dynamic design of the Mazda3 Sport hatchback but is differentiated by its Mazdaspeed exclusive front and rear bumpers, front fenders, scooped hood, rear spoiler, interior trim and fabric.
The model will be offered in Velocity Red, Crystal White Pearl, Celestial Blue Mica and Black Mica paint colours.
It features a series of improvements including its engine — the acclaimed MZR 2.3L DISI Turbo producing 263 hp at 5,500 rpm and 280 ft/lb of torque at 3,000 rpm, and its specially-designed six-speed manual transmission.
