The mayor of St. Albert, Nolan Crouse,
believes someone knows something about the missing McCann couple.
Mayor Nolan Crouse announced a community-driven initiative to raise funds for a special reward for tips that lead to Lyle and Marie McCann and the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible for their abduction.
“Our thoughts and prayers are for the safe return of Mr. and Mrs. McCann,” Crouse said. “Someone knows where they are and our community is encouraging whoever that is to come forward.”
“We’re very optimistic that my parents are out there somewhere and that someone, somewhere, has information that will help us find them,” added Brett McCann, the son of the missing couple.
$11,000 was raised so far for the reward for information, $10,000 of which came from an anonymous donor.
