After nearly a week, one of Calgary’s Meals on Wheels vans has been found and will be back on the road Monday, according to a spokesperson.

“There was no apparent damage to the outside but there was a party going on the inside, for sure,” said executive director Janice Curtis.

The van was picked up on Tuesday from a municipal impound lot, said Curtis. Police are still investigating the theft.

Curtis said the support from Calgarians has been great, with the Beretta security company offering to install surveillance cameras and patrol nightly for free.
