It’s Black History Month, which means it’s time for our favorite sign of the season: the mating song of the Eastern White Non-Racist.
In case you’re unfamiliar with this beautiful call, it goes something like this:
“I’m not a racist, but! I’m not a racist, but! I’m not a racist, but why isn’t there a White History Month?”
Fortunately, the tumblr blog When Is White History Month? has recorded a number of these delightful calls, each with a particular melody unique to its owner:
–March is Women’s History Month, Greek-American Heritage Month and Irish-American Heritage Month.
–April is Tartan Month, for those with Scottish-American heritage.
–May is Jewish American Heritage Month and Older Americans Month.
–June is Gay & Lesbian Pride Month.
–July is French-American Heritage Month.
–German-American Heritage Month runs from the middle of September to the middle of October.
–October is LGBT History Month and Italian-American Heritage Month.
–November is Puerto Rican Heritage Month.
