It’s been two years and Metro Edmonton is continuing to make its mark in the community.
Young, active Edmontonians have embraced Metro since its arrival in the provincial capital on April 2, 2007. And while readership figures are still forthcoming as the paper winds up it second year, Metro Alberta publisher Steve Shrout expressed his elation about how warmly the new product has been received by readers and anticipates even greater growth in the future.
“We’ve become Edmonton’s largest free daily newspaper within two short years,” Shrout said. “We couldn’t have done it without our readers and our incredible staff.”
