Venture outside of Ottawa to visit the Chocolate Making Economusée.

Located at the old Montebello train station in Outaouais, a short drive from Ottawa, the chocolaterie features organic free-trade chocolate specialties by chocolate makers and head chefs Gaëtan Tessier and Luc Gielen.

The museum, which opens today, is part of the Economusée Society Network, a private non-profit organization composed of a group of people who share a common vision. The objectives include conserving traditions, helping artisans to become financially self-sufficient so that they can honourably pass on their knowledge from one generation to the next, and to develop cultural tourism.
