Metro Minute at a Christmas tree lot

If you’re in need of a Christmas tree — of the real variety — you can spend some time searching for the perfect fit for your living room.

Kiwanis Club of South Edmonton has been providing Christmas trees in exchange for donations since 1950; the money raised is for not-for-profit work around the city.

Approximately 1,100 different trees were on offer when the lot, located at 66 Avenue and 113 Street, first opened on Nov. 28.

You have until Dec. 23 to get your tree.

The lot is open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. On the weekend, it closes at 7 p.m.
