Metro Minute at a piano concert

Piano soloist and third-year Carleton University music student John Dapaah will perform Wolfgang Mozart’s Piano Concerto in A Major with the Gatineau Conservatory Orchestra at the university’s Kailash Mital Theatre in Southam Hall at 7:30 tonight.

Piano soloist and third-year Carleton University music student John Dapaah will perform Wolfgang Mozart’s Piano Concerto in A Major with the Gatineau Conservatory Orchestra at the university’s Kailash Mital Theatre in Southam Hall at 7:30 tonight. The concert, which officially launches a new partnership between Carleton University and the conservatory, also includes works by Giacomo Rossini, Claude Champagne and the late Patrick Cardy, who served as a Carleton music faculty member for 30 years. Dapaah is currently studying with Carleton University Chamber Ensemble director Nicole Presentey. Tickets are $12.
