For the price of a coffee, Calgarians can not only help a good cause but get the best of the best in a public session for Calgary Slam! Poetry Fundraiser Benefit & Open Mic with Sheri-D Wilson and Jen Kunlire.
To help raise funds for the 2010 National Slam! Competition in Ottawa later this month, the Calgary Spoken Word Society is putting on the special benefit that also features a palm reader, a tarot card reader and an art auction.
An open mic stands at the ready for those who wish to get on stage in true slam style!
The event begins Friday night at 8 at the Auburn Saloon for just $5.
