If you are a local foodie and movie buff, your two interests are combined at tonight’s Cinema to Savour, a benefit screening for The Chefs’ Table Society of B.C. at the Vancity Theatre.
The first of four evenings of food and film kicks off at 7 p.m. with Campbell Scott’s 1996 drama, Big Night, where two Italian brothers try to save their failing restaurant. Italian fare prepared by Pino Posteraro of Cioppino’s Mediterranean Grill follows.
