We may moan and groan about Air Canada, but one thing it does spectacularly is entertain us at 30,000 feet: Those personal screens with their roster of movies is the greatest thing to happen in aviation since aerodynamics.

Now the airline is celebrating emerging Canadian talent with its enRoute Short Film Festival. Tonight at 7, shoot down the DVP for a free screening of the 12 competing entries at the Scotiabank Theatre.

A star-studded jury, including Jason Priestley, Alan Cumming and Sheila McCarthy, will select the best in direction, animation, cinematography, and overall achievement.
