Food is a leading ingredient in many global issues, according to former Langara instructor Margo Chapman-Kendall.

The Vancouver Public Library is holding a food-conscious seminar today at noon free of charge for Vancouverites looking to eat away at the connection between food and global issues — like climate change. Chapman-Kendall will speak at the central branch on various social movements that have emerged globally, and locally, when it comes to the role of food in world challenges.

The instalment is Part 8 of a 10-week globalization-themed series presented by current and former Langara College faculty, which highlights various global issues.
