Those looking to sample some heartfelt music while helping promote children’s welfare can head to the Jack Singer Concert Hall Saturday night to attend Harmony for Hope. The benefit concert aims to raise funds for Child Find Alberta and will feature the talents of six local choirs. Saturday marks the day in which the United Nations adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child in 1959, and the Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1989. It is also Universal Children’s Day. Doors are set to open at 6:30 p.m. and the evening will also feature a silent auction. Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for children up to age nine.
