If you have a minute to spare today, swing by Calgary’s Shaw Millennium Park to watch some of the city’s skateboarders.
As the largest skateboarding and in-line skating park in North America, the park offers numerous dips, bowls, mounds and a full pipe.
In addition, the park has basketball and volleyball courts, an amphitheatre, a clock tower and a water area for kids. It’s located at 1220 9th Ave. SW near the Telus World of Science Centre.
Millennium Park is open all year round, 24 hours a day and admission is free.
Skateboarders of all levels are welcome.
