If you have a minute to spare Friday, check out Calgary’s fifth PechaKucha Night.
The event is part of the New West Fest and will feature numerous speakers who represent various aspects of Calgary.
The speakers each present 20 slides based on a theme of The West for only 20 seconds per slide.
Live music will also be taking place on two stages at the event, with the Smokin’ 45s set to perform. The events kick off at 3:30 p.m. at Stephen Avenue and 1st Street SW with additional performances taking place on the Olympic Plaza stage. For a full list of events, go to calgaryculture.com.
