The Royal Canadian Mint is returning to downtown Vancouver today.

The Mint, which operated a popular free pavilion during the 2010 Winter Olympics where people could view the Olympic medals, is opening a temporary boutique on Granville Street.

The retail shop, located between Robson and Georgia streets, will be open until mid-February.

Tomorrow, there will also be a poppy-coin exchange where people can trade their pocket change for the 2010 circulation poppy quarter. Customers will be able to purchase collector coins and souvenirs.

The boutique is open tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
