Take a moment to clear your head from the hustle and bustle of the city without having to leave it.

Breathe deeply at the Arboretum, located at the Central Experimental Farm. Once there, check out the collection of more than 2,000 varieties of trees and shrubs across 35 hectares of rolling land. The northeast corner of the Arboretum has its own microclimate, with magnolias, rhododendrons and a wisteria.

Bring your camera and hit up eight hectares of gardens, which include the rose garden, perennial collection, rock garden, annual garden, the Macoun sunken garden, hedges and collections of flowers.
