The annual Butterfly Show returns to Carleton University for 10 days starting Friday. Visitors can enjoy the magic as butterflies emerge from their chrysalises. Watch thousands of exotic tropical butterflies fly free in the two display greenhouses at Carleton’s Nesbitt Biology Building located at the corner of University Drive and Raven Road.
Pack a few orange slices as sweet treats for the butterflies. The show runs daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Thanksgiving Monday. As a bonus, parking is free on weekends and holidays. Admission is free, but all donations go towards purchasing specimens for the show.
