Yes, the turkey truffle burger is exquisitely delicate and savoury with its fresh ground, all local ingredients, but that wasn’t why.

The reason? For the first time in decades, she was able to enjoy a gourmet burger with a fluffy, homemade gluten free bun.

The Grindhouse didn’t set out to become a champion for celiacs, but thanks to a loved one’s wheat allergy, it has spent the past two years perfecting a menu that’s 90 per cent gluten free and 100 per cent fantastic.
