That’s why The Mad Italian Gelato Bar owner Alessandro Settimi imported his mamma straight from Rome, where she’s been a gelato-churning superstar for almost three decades.

Mamma’s hand prepares all 42 flavours every day in the back using the Cadillac of gelato-making machinery. While pistachio has been a perennial favourite, it’s also the only place in the GTA where you can get a proper scoop of Stracciatella (true gelato lovers will know exactly what this means). Best of all? A licensed patio.
