The Sculptors’ Association of Alberta presents its annual summer show until Aug. 29 at the Muttart Conservatory. Visitors will find delightful, unexpected discoveries of sculpture, strategically placed amongst the vegetation. A soapstone grizzly lurking beneath the cedars, a carved wooden mask almost hidden by giant leaves, a colourful mosaic creature sunning itself beside the cacti, or peaceful clay figures enjoying the fragrant air — these are but a few possibilities that visitors may encounter as they wander through the pyramids. Regular admission and hours of operation apply. For more information, visit www.muttartconservatory.ca.
