Metro Minute at the Upside Down Church

If you have a minute to spare and you want to take a breather away from the Stampede Grounds, take a quick 10-15 minute walk to the Upside Down Church sculpture in the community of Ramsay.

The sculpture came to Calgary in 2008 from Vancouver where it was originally displayed. It was brought to the city by the Glenbow Museum and TORODE.

Created by New York artist Dennis Oppenheim, the sculpture is actually titled Device to Root Out Evil.

The sculpture is located just a few blocks east of Stampede Park at 24th Avenue S.E. between 7th Street and Spiller Road.
