If it’s a day of the week that ends in “y,” chances are you will find something going on at Trinity Bellwoods Park.
The large expanse of urban greenery is couched between several of the city’s most interesting streets (that would be the Queen, Dundas, and Shaw varieties), and boasts a rotating cabal of interesting local characters and activities. Cyclists can take advantage of the trails that run parallel to Garrison Creek, and those with dogs can take their furry friends out to play with the other four-legged creatures in the neighbourhood. There’s a bonus if you manage to spot the park’s mythical white squirrels.
