Metro Minute goes back to school

Gone are the days of sleeping until noon, playing outside all day and staying up late.

Summer is over and thousands of kids are going back to school this week.

For both the Edmonton Catholic and public school boards, the first day of classes is today, but students won’t have to wait too long for a break.

This weekend is a long weekend and there is no school on Labour Day Monday, Sept. 6.

Drivers should be reminded to obey all school zone signs and watch for kids crossing the road.
