Eight SFM Lifestyles Salon and Spa stylists will be giving men’s ($25) and women’s ($45) haircuts. Clippings, along with proceeds, will go to Matter of Trust, a charity that is making booms out of natural hair to help absorb oil in the Gulf of Mexico, said SFM owner Wissam Akl.
“Hearing about the oil spill, you wish you could do something. We can help,” said Akl.
Don’t need a cut? Get a massage or manicured nails instead.
