Head on over to the Central Experimental Farm at around 6:30 p.m. to cheer on more than 500 runners taking part in the 29th annual Xerox 10 km Run to benefit the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.

Runners in the three-kilometre and 10-kilometre races will be doing laps around the gently rolling fields of the farm, so there will be plenty of opportunity to see the race.

Better yet, for only $35 you can still register for the race on site until 6:15 p.m. That may take a little longer than a minute, but it is for a good cause.

The start and finish for both races is about 250 metres south of the intersection of Morningside and Cow lanes.
