Come listen as the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra perform award-winning scores from a collection of video games, from The Legend of Zelda to Halo.


PLAY! A Video Game Symphony features scores from blockbuster video games like Metal Gear Solid, Sim City 4, Super Mario Bros, Sonic the Hedgehog and the World of Warcraft. During the performance, graphics from the games will be projected onto large screens above the orchestra. The show is directed by composer Andy Brick who has penned work for video games like the Sims 2 and Warhammer. The show begins at 8 p.m. at the Orpheum Theatre, 601 Smithe St. Tickets are $29 to $68 and are available at vancouversymphony.ca.
