Metro Minute with Dan Aykroyd

Feeling blue, brother? Who you gonna call? Dan Aykroyd, 58, an original Saturday Night Live cast member and co-creator of The Blues Brothers, is making a pair of Lower Mainland appearances. From 2-4 p.m. today, Aykroyd will be at the B.C. Liquor Store (1716 Robson St.) signing bottles to promote Patron tequila, one of the brands the comedian promotes through his Alloy Brands. Aykroyd will arrive at the store in a Crystal Head Vodka tour bus. Crystal Head Vodka, which Aykroyd owns, is filtered through diamonds and is quadruple distilled. Tomorrow, the actor will be signing bottles at the B.C. Liquor Store at Northgate Mall in Burnaby.
